THE FEAR OF EBOLA and EBOLA GUNS

THE FEAR OF EBOLA

The fear of Ebola is the begining of wisdom. For Nigerians who are well known to be reactive and not proactive the Ebola menace has come as a wake up call for most people in Port Harcourt The garden city. On entrance to any public institution, Shopping malls or Hospital you will be first accosted at the gate by security guards wielding Ebola Guns (well thermometers). Some check body temperature others check surface temperture but its all acceptable in the name of Ebola. After that you have to wash your hands in a wash hand basin or water pump or movable bucket depending on the resources of the centre, then you present your palms for the hand sanitizer which concludes the ritual in some or then to an automatic hot air dryer which leaves you hottr than you came. But no chances. Ebola is smart it can pass through the smallest loophole. How it got through from lagos to PH and Enugu after we thought we had caged it. However every thing we know about Ebola says it passes from body fluids only of full blown cases. I have one question though. What are the chances that Ebola is not an epidemic but a terrorrist?
